Terms Of Sale & Quality Agreement:
By purchasing an animal from us, you are agreeing to the Terms of Sale listed below.
Deposits:
We offer the option for you to place a $75 NONREFUNDABLE deposit, should you wish for us to place a hold on a specific animal for you. The remaining balance will be due before an animal will be shipped. If the animal is already ready to ship, the hold period shall last no longer than two weeks. The deposit will be credited towards the total cost of your animal. If the animal that you have placed on hold is not ready for shipping, the required timeline/deadline for shipping will not start until the animal is ready and we have receive confirmation that you have been notified and are aware that your animal is ready to be shipped to you
Should you decide that you no longer wish to purchase the animal that you have placed on hold, your deposit can be credited towards another animal when one becomes available. Should you decide that you no longer wish to purchase an animal from us, your deposit is relinquished and nonrefundable.
Shipping:
Live arrival is guaranteed. Under this guarantee, we will only ship via FedEx Express Priority Overnight. A hold for pickup at your closest FedEx Ship Center is also required in order to guarantee the animals live arrival. If you do not pickup your animal from the agreed upon shipping terminal or hub within three hours of the animal being made available by the carrier/hub, your live arrival AND health guarantee are voided. We only ship Mondays - Wednesdays.
Weather patterns in both our area and the customers will be a determining factor in the shipping schedule. If we, the seller determine that weather is a potential concern for your animals safety then we reserve the right to delay shipping until it is safe to ship. Extreme heat and cold periods MUST be taken into consideration. If a customer decides that they no longer wish purchase an animal due to unwillingness to wait for weather patterns to clear up enough to meet our safety standards, we reserve the right to keep a $50 hold deposit fee to equate for having the animal off market, feeding, housing during the waiting period; and, the remaining balance will be refunded.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon between the seller and purchaser in writing. This includes DOA claims.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims:
DOA Claims must be issued immediately upon pickup. Live arrive guarantee is void if animal is not picked up within three hours of being made available by hub/terminal pickup location. Customers must issue a DOA claim within ONE hour of pickup from hub. We will issue a credit upon the claims acceptance and will replace the animal with one, of the customers choosing with consideration to price, value and locale. We will not issue a credit / replace the animal if the required time frames for pickup and DOA claims listed above are not met. The customer is responsible for shipping costs of the replacement animal. Do not discard animal if a DOA claim is required, we will require pictures and potential return of animal. Please place animal in freezer safe bag and put in freezer to be stored until claims process is complete.
Quality:
In the four years of being in business, we have never had a quality claim. With that being said, things happen and we are always here to help. We want all of our customers to be happy with the purchase of their chameleon. We offer a ten day health guarantee. If there are any health issues or concerns within the first ten days of your animals arrival, you may request a full refund / replacement of your animal. We will not provide refund or replacement until original animal has made its safe return to us. We will require an explanation of the reasoning of your need to return the animal as well as pictures of the animal, its enclosure / complete setup in its current condition, supplementation, feeders, and feeder housing. If we deem that injury, poor health, or death were the result of improper care or neglect, we reserve the right to void the health guarantee. This health guarantee also includes the first replacement animal that we provide.
We do not agree to pay any veterinarian expenses resulting from quality issues or health concerns. The animal in question is to be returned to Ramblin' Exotics immediately in order to ensure that the animal is properly cared for; and, a replacement animal will be provided at our expense. No exception to this rule will be applied. We have a specific veterinarian office that we entrust all of our animals care onto. If you do not wish to send the animal in question back, you / the purchaser will be responsible for all veterinarian care expenses.
Injury In Transit:
In the rare case that an animal is injured in transit, a claim must be reported within 24 hours of arrival. We will gladly replace the animal if the claim is deemed accurate but we will require that the animal be returned back to us in order to ensure that the animal receives the necessary care that it requires. The new animal will be shipped to you upon the arrival of the injured animal back to us.
Sexing:
We offer a guarantee that you will receive the proper sex you have requested. If a mistake is made, we will gladly replace / swap the animal with one of the proper sex. We will require that you send back the original animal. We will provide you with a return shipping label and require that it be sent back in the original packaging that it came in. Once the original animal is shipped, we will send you an animal of the correct sex.
By submitting payment, you, the customer have agree to the terms of sale provided above and waives all rights to claim otherwise.
